Our client has been in business for over 40 years, and business is strong. You will join a family of manufacturing companies that dates back to 1905 as a Manufacturing Process Engineer reporting to the Director of Engineering. As part of this role, you will design and implement manufacturing systems, equipment, and procedures.
The following will be your main responsibilities:
- Production equipment monitoring
- Procedures for updating current systems
- CAD production drawings
- Developing best practices for Lean Engineering
- Using robust problem-solving methods such as Six Sigma
The following should be included in your background:
- A degree in engineering is preferred
- Engineering experience of 5-7 years
- Experience with PTFE or powder coating is a plus
- Learning rubber processing is a must
- A solid understanding of CAD is required
- Ability to solve problems effectively
- Experience with lean manufacturing
- Experience managing projects
- Skills in oral, written, and presentation communication
