Industrial Multicraft Maintenance Technician

TalentWorx Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Manufacturing Client in Hartselle, Alabama. If you have Industrial Maintenance experience as a Multi-craft, Industrial Electrician, Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, or Maintenance Technician and meet the qualifications below, we'd love to speak! This is a 2nd Shift Position. Working hours are 3:00 P.M.- 1:00 A.M. This role will require a significant amount of OT as our client builds their maintenance department staffing levels. • Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping
• Advanced mechanical skills
• Advanced electrical knowledge
• Understanding the basics of PLC operations.
  • Types of cards
  • Meaning of indicator lights
  • HMI navigation.
  • Difference between upload/download, input/output, analog/discrete, etc.
• Identify 480v, 270v, 120v ac as well as low voltage dc.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Identify common electrical and mechanical symbols.
  • Locate and identify power distribution to stand-alone equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of CNC machinery operations
• General knowledge of robotics and automation
  • Identify major components involved with industrial automation and their uses/purposes. Must be able to visually identify VFDs, contactors, power supplies, etc., in an industrial cabinet.
• Advanced knowledge of power transmissions such as gearboxes and motors
• Display proficiency with a multimeter.
  • Able to identify high/low voltage
    • 480, 277, 120VAC and 24/12/5VDC.
  • Ability to verify locked out voltage source is isolated and safe for work
