Data Warehousing - Oil Gas

Responsibilities

Plan, construct, coordinate, and deploy data warehouses Develop data loading and extraction best practices Develop data architecture, data modeling, and ETFL mapping solutions inside structured data warehouse environment Facilitate requirements gathering utilizing expert listening skills and develop unique simple solutions to meet business customers' immediate and long-term needs

Develop and implement ETL procedures according to the DWH design and architecture Support DWH and Business Intelligence system development and validation, maintain user connectivity, and provide data warehouse security Monitor and maintain the DWH and BI systems Work closely with customers to analyze their systems and business concepts.

Create user guides, manuals, training materials, and installation and data conversion aids for the proposed solution.

Raising Service Requests with Application Support/SI for various issues and following up until resolution Demonstrating application functioning, soliciting feedback, and meeting project sponsor needs. Work with business and IT staff to enable thorough testing and successful implementation of the solution

Configure user application access rights according to Company Policies and Procedures for Applications Access.

Consolidate and optimize data warehouse infrastructure Conceive analytics and business intelligence platform architecture for clients, including internal and third-party clients Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and external sources; ensure data is verified and quality is checked Design and implement ETL processes and data architecture to ensure proper functioning of analytics lad Develop and use data warehouse architecture with business and technical stakeholders.

Design and extend data marts, meta data, and data models. Maintain data warehouse architectural codes in a version control system.

Requirements

University degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management

8 years in similar role with professional experience in several or all of the following areas: Data warehousing, ETL development, BI, analytics, visualization, and communication.

5+ years of data warehouse architecture development and management

SQL, Python, R, and Scala programming skills.

ODI or SSIS ETL tool expertise

Oracle or Microsoft Data Warehouse expertise
