Job Description

- Assist in the development of communication plans and strategies
- Help to create and edit press releases, fact sheets, and other materials
- Assist with media relations, including reaching out to journalists and pitching story ideas
- Help to monitor and track media coverage of clients
- Attend and assist with events, such as press conferences and product launches
- Learn how to use PR tools and software
- Help to manage and update the companys social media accounts
- Assist with research and analysis of industry trends and competitor activity
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of PR techniques and strategies
- Experience with social media and digital marketing
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Knowledge of media relations and press release writing
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Enrolled in or completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related
