The Precision Equipment Manager will be a remote The ideal candidate would be familiar with farming and be located in Western This position will work with the Partner Services and Farmer Services departments supporting their precision equipment needs. They will troubleshoot and solve problems that arise on field through support. The Precision Ag Equipment Specialistwill be able to work independently while communicating with multiple teams within This candidate can expect to travel when necessary.
-Prescription file writing with the GIS and Precision Agronomists
-Prescription file loading documentation including instructions, tutorials and
-New partner and farmer client onboarding program for equipment and controllers.
-Support and troubleshooting for all variable rate capable equipment
-Lead display and equipment training for staff and
-Keep the company database up to date on the capabilities of controllers and VR
-Assist otherdepartments withother duties in the off-season such as installing or servicing SWAT BOX or SWAT
-Setup industry contacts and relationships to ensure Croptimistic is always up to date on new software releases and new equipment.
-Post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture or equivalent technical field or related
-3-5 years' experience in the precision agriculture industry working with multiple brands of equipment
-Knowledge of Western Canadian agriculture
-Well organized, detail-oriented and a quick learner
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Must be able to work in a high-pressure situation while maintaining excellent customer service skills
-Strong computer and technical knowledge
-Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home
-Must be willing to work longer hours during spring seeding and fall fertilizing
