Main responsibilities for this role include:

• Stripping, Repairing & Overhauling Aircraft Piston Engines
  
• Diagnosing, testing, and troubleshooting
  
• Maintaining workshop tooling in accordance to working specifications and conditions
  
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records
  
• Execute work in line with quality procedures and safety requirements
  
• Hazard identification and reporting
  

Requirements

• A strong mechanical aptitude with your Certificate IV in Aeroskills or informal mechanical experience in the Automotive or Aircraft engine/component maintenance space
  
• Manual machining experience would be an advantage
  
• Ability to read and apply Manufacturers and Regulators technical data/documentation to work processes
  
• Able to use tools in a safe and appropriate manner
  
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
  
• Computer literacy (preferred although not essential)
  
• Ability to adhere to Safe Work Procedures and Company Policy
  
• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment and ongoing Drug and Alcohol Screens
  
• Manual drivers licence preferred
