Requirements

  • At least 7+ years experience in Operations, with 3 of those being in management roles
  • Master s degree or comparable educational achievement
  • Work and living experience in emerging markets, particularly in Nigeria or elsewhere in West Africa
  • Proven experience establishing, implementing, and executing operational process in a highly dynamic and fast-growing company
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets
  • Experience developing and managing a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Experience managing and coordinating teams to deliver consistent quality on a tight schedule

Responsibilities
  • Structure and optimise current operational activities and iteratively adjust based on learnings as the business evolves
  • Manage and track daily/weekly metrics from key business functions while ensuring consistent alignment to companywide strategic objectives
  • Develop and keep informative, data-driven, and insightful business reports for use by the Executive
  • Reports will be leveraged to derive an accurate idea of the state of the business at any given time
  • Work with the Strategy team to support team leaders in the development of department objectives, key results, and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to support team leaders in the development and maintenance of relevant and detailed budgets
  • Set up process for and then complete quarterly operational reviews and reports that feed into the strategy development process
  • Oversee the building and/or continuous improvement of operational SOPs and SLAs between Central Operations and Departmental Operations to help them most effectively achieve their goals
  • Lead initiatives to automate and reduce time spent on operational tasks across the business
  • Build and maintain carefully structured processes and systems that leverage and produce data that informs business decisions across West Africa and beyond
  • Maintain and improve playbooks, detailed manuals that document all relevant parts of the company s operating model; continually update and improve these manuals in preparation for supporting other teams
