Our Axiomer Unit is currently looking for a (Senior) Scientist Organic Chemistry (Full-time) to join our
Growing interest in the application and development of our platforms based on nucleic acid-based modulation of RNA as approaches to treat diseases allows us to expand our team Our proprietary and versatile Axiomer^TM and Trident^TM platforms harness the power of recruiting endogenously expressed ADAR enzymes to make precise adenine-to-inosine (A I) or uridine-to-pseudouridine mutations in RNA, through the use of specifically designed synthetic guide These platforms add exciting new approaches with enormous potential as a research tool and therapeutic use in a wide range of disease

As a member of our EON Design and In Silico team, you will assist in directing efforts to enhance the delivery of our molecules in all aspects, ranging from awareness of the state of the art and generating new concepts to the synthesis of required test items, among which oligonucleotide-ligand As such, you will work closely with our molecular biology-driven teams and in-house CMC

Location: Leiden, NL

We expect our () Scientist to have:

• A PhD degree in synthetic organic chemistry; or a Master s degree with at least 4 years' experience in the design and execution of organic chemical synthesis projects, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with the concept of targeted delivery/uptake of therapeutic molecules
• Experience with oligonucleotide chemistry is a plus
