YOUR CHALLENGES
During a work week, you will be called upon to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Ensure a role of supervision and training of a small work team
- Work on audit, review and compilation engagements, including:
- Planning and preparation of files
- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of corporate income tax returns
- Reviewing the files prepared by the team members under your supervision
- Regular contacts with our clients (phone, email, in person)
- Assist clients with important month-end tasks
YOUR PROFILE
- You are a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in an accounting firm serving SMEs
- You have strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- You have a good knowledge of Canadian taxes (income, sales and payroll taxes)
- Mastering of French and English (both spoken and written)
- Proficiency in the following software is an important asset: Caseware, Sage 50, QuickBooks, DT Max, Microsoft Office
