What does MI and Data Analyst do at Collinson?

The role will be part of a multi-disciplined commercial and technical team with the potential to have a client facing aspect to it that includes a range of audiences and levels of

Key responsibilities

• Production of regular MI reports for both internal and external customers, for example monthly performance trackers and client presentations, across the Travel Insurance line of business (LOB)
• Ensure all data used is current and accurate and act as the primary point of contact for data related issues and queries for the Travel Insurance LOB
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure all requirements gathering and analysis tasks are accurately planned within overall agreed timeframes
• Work with stakeholders (both internal and external) to elicit requirements for data to support the Travel Insurance LOB
• Work with Development, QA and Production Support teams to communicate, verify, and support testing and data related functionality changes
• Manage downstream data quality issues with Underwriters, Commercial teams, and Partners
• Stewardship of all data for Travel Insurance LOB

Knowledge and Skills required

• Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience of Microsoft Power BI and Alteryx would be beneficial
• Experience working with data in general insurance
• Comfortable working on their own initiative to support the whole team in achieving success
• Strong focus on delivery, cutting across different job levels and departments
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally
• Effective relationship builder
• Strong communication skills
