Open Position: Head, Corporate Insurance (Group Level)

An MNC Shared Services is currently looking for Head, Corporate Insurance to join the team and based in the Kuala Lumpur

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the entire organisation annual insurance renewal process with the insurance brokers, taking into account the past performance relating to claims, cover requirements, declarations, notifications and cost of insurance
  
• Identifying and addressing corporate risk management gaps and issues relating to outcomes from known areas of insurance claims involved by the organisation
  
• Regularly review, measure and report claims performance for compliance with standards and work towards the continual improvement of the total cost of risk and apply adequate risk management processes
  
• Implement the insurance program consistent with the company strategy and develop and implement strategies to proactively partner with all divisions to optimise insurance cover and self-insured outcomes catering different businesses and countries
  
• Preparation of reports as required for the Management Team regarding number and status of insurance claims, costing, resolution of claims, emerging issues and insurance strategies
  
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as industry partners, insurance brokers, insurance claims representatives and etc
  
• Continuously benchmark within the industry to ensure the competitiveness of the insurance policies and coverage for the entire organisation
  
• Good understanding of the insurance industry, as well as financial acumen, would be added advantage
