Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Industrial Designerto assist and support the Systems Integration team in the mechanical design of broadcast and production systems at NEP s Systems Integration Key duties include:
- Assists in the design and development of new or existing systems/facilities with specialization in television mobile unit trailers, Fly Pack and Studio This Includes digitizing physical objects and assemblies from existing drawings, publishing documents from relevant CAD drawings, and preparing modifications of
- Produces drawing packages from various disciplines including; structural, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, interior and console design, as well as architectural, interior/exterior materials and
- Offers insight to techniques, methodology, and materials to improve systems, installation and
- Assists in the selection materials, equipment, and
- Reviews and researches the assembly, fabrication, and tests feasibility of prototypes and
- Work with the design team, mechanical and technical supervisors, and project coordinator to develop and verify designs, order needed materials, and assure necessary inventory is available to implement
- Assists in developing budgets and project
- Visits project sites, production floor, maintenance shop assess progress and assist with troubleshooting, testing, implementation and design Limited travel may be
Requirements
- Associates or Technical Degree is preferred from an accredited Design, Technology, or Engineering
- Broadcast Integration Industry experience is a
- Experience with AutoCAD and
- Strong Mac/PC skills with Experience in the Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on tasks and projects independently as well as in a team oriented
- Must be able to work on multiple projects with tight
