Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the development of smarter controls utilizing DeviceNet and Profibus
Programme HMI, PLC and DCS
Configure HMI software, and upgrade operator station PC
Work with Matlab in order to find different stabilizing speeds under different
Specify open loop model requirement and interface to the rest of the HIL
Survey and bid on applications projects for PLC controls systems and components to increase reliability and
Programme DCS to sequence desludgers and operate desludging in several configurations, tune controllers, configure
Create a custom MATLAB tool to post process vehicle and bench simulation data for all SW
Maintain HIL system operation with updates to interface models, system hardware, user interface and test automation
Revitalize controls layouts in AutoCAD for an enhance understanding of the existing automation scenario and mapping of physical locations for
Provide layout instructions from blueprints or interaction with facility managers and construction
Generate project documentation for submittals, wiring diagrams and interconnection drawings using Microsoft office and AutoCAD application software;.
Create uniform internal QA testing methodologies including package integration, performance, functionality, regression, configuration changes within matrix
Capture optimizing opportunities in APC controllers by adjusting objective functions to accommodate current operational needs and improving inferential calculations
Requirements
Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
UG or PG in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Controls Engineering
Requirement management in DOORS
Control function design
Control circuit design in VISIO
Control Software Testing and Validation
Control Modelling in MATLAB/Simulink
