Client Details:

Role Responsibilities:
  • Signing-off on the final release readiness for product and component
  • Establishing Quality Assurance discipline as an integral component of the Software Development
  • Acting as the primary contact for all matters related to QA
  • Setting the product quality strategy and plan, and then measure and report on the effective execution thereof
  • Defining the key measures for software and product
  • Developing, publishing and maintaining a QA roadmap of tooling and process
  • Planning, managing and measuring the Quality Assurance
  • Identifying the correct tools and QA process, and ensuring cadence with the Development team s Agile
  • Monitoring all QA activity, test results, defect rates and areas of
  • Reviewing the quality process and driving further efficiencies and
  • Utilising all quality and testing tools optimally, including balancing automation versus manual
  • Keeping up to date on knowledge of latest QA techniques and
  • Working with the QA team to develop personal development and training plans and providing opportunities for
  • Mentoring and coaching to QA team members, ensuring the success of the team s manual and automation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification would be preferential
  • QA related Test management certification ISTQB Testing Management

Relevant Skills / Experience:
  • 5+ years relevant work
  • Experience in the Full Software Quality Assurance
  • Experience in a Management / Team Leadership role - Building and managing QA
  • Demonstrable experience in manual and automated QA, ideally in a continuous delivery
  • Experience of modern QA automation and monitoring
  • Experience in the Telco industry would be
  • Payments experience would also be
  • Functional and non-functional testing
  • Strong communication skills, dealing with all levels of management and peers within an
  • Experience working with teams following an Agile
  • Strong technical skills - comfortable testing software without a user interface, an
  • Comfortable writing and debugging
  • Someone with a passion for Technology and Testing Experience leading QA
