Job Description
We are seeking a Temporary full-time Warehouse Shop Technician to expedite shipments and This position will collaborate with our Mobile Units that are part of some of the biggest broadcasting / sporting events in the This role will assist copper cable maintenance, compile equipment and loading This role will also be responsible for all field shop activities, equipment, and gear as This could be a good role for a person with 3 or more years of experience in a similar field or This position is temporary to get us through a busy season for a 2 or 3 month There is potential that this could become a permanent ;
The position is Monday through Friday on-site at our Van Nuys Some overtime may be required as Wage is $19 - $22 per hour ;
Key duties include:
- Receive, inventory, test, and organize copper cable inventory
- Collect and distribute shipments and receivables each morning
- Facilitate the shipping and receiving of products / gear by helping to load and unload trucks
- Compile / scan complete load lists for events while picking / packing equipment
- Provide transportation of equipment for maintenance / repair / delivery / to local off-site locations
- Organize and keep data bases on all equipment (Good computer skills)
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience working in a similar environment / warehouse
- Experience working in a large warehouse / field shop environment
- Strong organizational / computer skills
- Valid drivers license
- Technical degree preferred, however a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Must be willing to travel to events on occasion (around 10%)
