Program Manager / Director of Care / Care Services Lead
Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse (LPN)
Status: Full-time,Permanent
Shifts: 8-hour
You ll join compassionate and highly trained professionals who put innovative, evidence-based practices to work in ways that positively impact the seniors in this well-managed long-term care
Must love seniors and bring 2 years leadership experience working as a nurse preferably within a supportive living or long-term care
Reporting to the Administrator you are an integral member of the management
Responsibilities include:
We are looking for a team member who has:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; Ability to empathize and facilitate problem-solving for the team; Ability to work independently and interdependently as a team member; Knowledge and experience with RAI and electronic resident
Must have at least one year s previous experience in geriatrics and/or long-term care; Graduated from an approved school of nursing as a RN, RPN, LPN; Current registration with Alberta RN, RPN or LPN College of Nurses and can submit documentation; WHMIS; Criminal record clearance; Ongoing current CPR and First Aid certification; Excellent verbal and written skills in English; Moderate computer
