Job Summary:

The primary function of the Shipping Coordinator is to keep track of and oversee all Shipping and Logistics activities of Projects, through production ramp into steady state production and


Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for all Customer and Supplier Communication related to Shipping and Some correspondence may come from other team members, but the SC is ultimately responsible for the follow up and
  • Coordinate and Expedite suppliers, forwarders and carriers to ensure that all shipping activities are on time and within the requirements of the project
  • Request, Coordinate and Expedite quotes as required for Parcel and Freight
  • Ensure customers are providing any required information timely to support on time shipment
  • Setup, maintain and manage the Google Portal and/or Shipping and Sample Logs
  • Daily:
  • Set-Up and Maintain all
  • Ensure statuses are
  • Ensure Tracking Numbers and Shipping Documents are
  • Maintain and manage Netsuite Fulfillments Daily:
  • Complete order
  • Upload Shipping
  • Enter tracking number(s).
  • Notify the Finance and Projects
  • Gather Bill of Ladings, Packing Lists, Proof of Deliveries for compliance


Requirements


  • 2 years combined experience in a shipping/logistics role. Desirable disciplines are shipping, receiving, projects, sales, accounts, returns, et where coordinating shipments was a large part of the
  • 4 year college degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Intermediate level Excel skills strongly
  • Experience in Netsuite (or similar ERP system), MS Office, Google Docs and Sheets are
