Project Plumbing Engineer

A Project Plumbing Engineer shall be the engineer responsible for comprehensive facility plumbing designs and, at a minimum, have the following capabilities:

• Understand advanced plumbing theory/calculations, plumbing system components and
  
• Engineer of Record for projects developed under their
  
• Must have the ability to review the work of others and give specific direction to the project team to further the
  
• Provide mentorship to associates with less experience and
  
• Have a working knowledge in Revit, AutoCAD, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic software to support setting up projects and assist in project
  
• Extensive knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices and the ability to apply them within the plumbing
  
• Be able to develop calculations, design narratives and work plans to be used as the basis of design of domestic water and sanitary plans, riser diagrams, and
  
• In depth understanding of the components of the mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems that will affect the design and be able to coordinate those discipline requirements into the plumbing
  
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve technical and coordination
  
• Manage projects and budgets with limited
  
• Attend internal and client coordination meetings with the ability to give direction, make technical decisions and ensure project goals are
  
• Perform site visits and investigation with little or no
  
• Nurture relationships with clients to foster additional
  
• Expectation of technical and management growth to assume a more responsible
  
• Take personal ownership of the work
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree with (preferred), 4+ years of proven relevant technical experience (required), military training, field
  
• Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or
  
• Ability to
  
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, photometric, word processing/spreadsheet and other basic
  
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to participate in a collaborative team
