What you will do:
The purpose of this position is to construct and refurbish mobile units and related projects at NEP s Systems Integration Facility, ensuring that client needs are met and equipment operates to NEP Key duties include:
- Read and understand floor plans, rack elevations, signal flow diagrams and jack field
- Translate drawings into cable pulling, cable prep and installation into mobile units and related
- Install cable, panels and equipment bringing elements together to form a fully functional
- Test the functionality of fabrication and installation work that has been
- Fabricate connectors for every required type of cable in a mobile
Requirements
What you will need:
- Associates or Technical Degree preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be
- Experience working with broadcast equipment and
- Must be able to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous
- Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment and
- Must have a valid Driver s License
- Must be reliable and willing to work 40+ hours/week including weekends as needed
- Experience with basic hand tools is a plus and must be willing and able to perform a variety of different
- Prior wiring experience is a plus, but not Training will be provided as needed
- Ability to deliver superior service and build lasting relationships by demonstrating NEP s Core Values: innovative, one team, passion and integrity
