Software Engineer - Essbase Hyperion wmd 8582

For a long-term project at our client s site, a bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a Software Engineer - Essbase Hyperion.

In this exciting role, you will be working in the Finance, Risk, and Analytics Service Technology team in Zurich on the development of today s platform and strategic redesign towards Azure Cloud.

Tasks

• Working within a feature or component development team delivering high-quality core features
• Working closely with business partners to analyze business requirements and design and implement solutions
• Developing high-quality software solutions/components that conform to architectural standards
• Managing development tasks end-to-end; taking complete ownership of the tasks being developed
• Demonstrating superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing, and implementation
• Working within a distributed team (India and Switzerland)

Requirements

• Many years experience as Software Engineer with excellent knowledge in Essbase Hyperion within complex big data infrastructure projects
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS
• Know-how of SparkSQL, Kyvos, Databricks, and related Azure ecosystem components is an asset
• Sound knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows Server, distributed computing, and scripting
• Knowledge about object-oriented concepts and design as well as willing to work on an agile and fast pace development model
• Solid know-how with source control systems (Git), build tools, and continuous integration such as Ant, Maven, TeamCity, Hudson, Sonar, etc.
• Experience with project and issue tracking tools (JIRA)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
