We are looking for a Finance Assistant (m/f/d), full time, who can start as soon as possible. We welcome candidates to apply who are looking to move into their first finance role.

Tasks

About the Role

You are responsible for the effective and timely processing finance tasks whilst adhering to high standards of process control. This is no ordinary job. The business moves quickly and you will find yourself getting involved in a wide variety of tasks and process improvement, including both financial and non-financial.

Communicate effectively with other members of the team, partners and travelers to come up with creative solutions to our business needs.

Focus on learning and self-development to ensure that the company is always benefitting from your expertise.

Your Challenges & Opportunities

• Working as a member of our finance team to cover all operational finance processes and regular tasks and payment processes
• Ensure data is recorded accurately and timely into our financial systems and is shared with our external service providers
• Monitor, forward and respond to requests from external and internal sources
• Provide holiday cover in the team as required
• Be part of our international team and speak fluent German and English

Requirements

• You are reliable and discreet with sensitive data.
• You are proactive and used to working independently and keeping an eye on processes.
• Your organisational skills are excellent and you can manage projects independently.
• You are IT literate with Microsoft office and Google workspace skills (particularly Excel/Google sheets).
• You have a flexible approach to work with a can-do attitude, willingness to help out with non-finance related tasks as and when required.
• You are a proactive problem solver.
• You are able to work independently but have an awareness of when to seek assistance.
• You have strong communication skills and are used to dealing with different characters.
• You have a friendly and self-confident manner.
