ABOUT THE TEAM

The Procurement team is responsible for securing the best agreements for our company s products and services. We work closely with all functions within the company to support their needs and find solutions that meet our high standards for quality and cost. We play a crucial role in helping our company stay competitive by establishing strong relationships with key partners and vendors.

As generalists, we get up to speed on new technologies and services on a daily basis to identify business opportunities, reduce risk exposures and anchor the firm in the broader tech ecosystem.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING

• You will contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies, which may involve identifying key vendors, negotiating contracts, and establishing relationships with them.
• You will play an active role in the procurement process, which may involve creating requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating bids, and coordinating the selection with internal stakeholders.
• You will negotiate new contracts and renewals with vendors, including tenure, the terms of price, payments, and other important details in coordination with Finance.
• You will handle vendor relationships, which may involve working with suppliers to resolve issues, ensuring that they are meeting the terms of their contracts, and identifying opportunities to optimize the relationship.
• You will assist in controlling costs related to procurement activities, including the cost of tech, licenses, services, and advisors.
• You will provide visibility to functions of the costs incurred and work jointly with them if corrective actions are required.
• You will maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities, including contracts and purchase orders.
• You will contribute to the identification and management of risks related to procurement activities, including the risk of supplier failure.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Qualifications: You have graduated from a top-tier university with a Bachelor s or Master s degree preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• You have at least 3 years purchasing/buyer experience.
• You are technology savvy and have the ability to work cross functionally.
• You are highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects.
• You build rapport quickly both internally and externally, with a client-first mentality.
• You run commercial discussions effectively and define negotiation strategies to meet your objective.
• You can make a good business case and convince people to help you execute.
• You keep your cool under pressure and interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels.
• You are curious by nature, a motivated self-starter and you care about making an impact.
• You get things done and are always focused on results.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
