Software Developer BIM (m/f/d)

Affordable, climate-neutral living for everyone: We at ecoworks plan renovation projects for old, inefficient apartment buildings and implement our innovative projects with housing companies and developers.

We rely on digital planning and industrial prefabrication: facade modules as a wooden frame construction are manufactured in the factory with a millimeter precision (including windows, sun protection, and supply technology) based on our 3D-scan and plan data.

True to the motto "remote first", we are looking for capable experts and managers for our Berlin headquarters or throughout Germany. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Developer BIM (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Tasks

• Your activity forms the interface along the entire planning, production, and execution process of ecoworks
• The aim of your work is to research, evaluate and present new ideas to support improvement or automation within the BIM processes
• You design interfaces, data models, scripts and workflows according to the BIM strategy
• You develop and maintain RVT add-in using RevitAPI in C#
• You implement new features (both UI and component logic) from product requirements into the existing code base
• You actively seek exchange with your colleagues in order to establish your results company-wide and create a pull request for new features internally
• Also, you will test and create documentation for the end users of the developed tools

Requirements

• You have completed your civil engineering, construction informatics, or comparable studies
• You already have broad experience in implementing the BIM method, ideally in the phases of planning, production, and execution, as well as the adjacent areas of sales and finance.
• Good knowledge of geometry and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with other developers using source control (Git) and remote repositories (Github or Gitlab)
• Expertise in BIM process, planning, production, and execution phases
• Experience working RevitAPI for C# (or python)
• Mid-Level proficiency in Revit
• Ideally, you are already familiar with the field of (serial) building renovation and are aware of the unique features
