QA Engineer - StartUp (m|f|d)

Every parking space will be digitalized - that's our client's mission. Every physical barrier will be replaced with modern computer vision technology, paper-based receipts with big touch screen terminals, your smartphone, and cloud microservices. It s their goal to integrate every parking lot into the digital mobility ecosystem of the current generation and offer a range of secondary services to make better use of the limited parking capacities. They already run over 500 edge devices in three different countries that handle thousands of parking and payment transactions per hour. To further improve the quality of the releases, they are looking for an experienced QA Engineer.

Tasks

• Collaborate with the development team to design and develop test plans with adequate or maximum test coverage, and analyze all functional and non-functional requirements
• Recommend appropriate automation frameworks and administer, maintain, and evaluate automation scripts, making recommendations for changes as needed
• Work with our engineering team to implement various end-to-end testing scenarios
• Create and implement detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, using automation solutions (tools) such as Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for front-end web application test automation, and REST API testing frameworks for back-end
• Report on the results of test cycles, owning the process
• Review bug reports from CRM and/or TechOps teams, analyzing and recommending the priority of such issues
• Identify and escalate any issues or defects in the system, and assist other engineers in the validation and resolution of these issues

Requirements

• You have several years of experience as a QA Engineer
• You have a strong understanding of software development, experience with infrastructure projects (CI/CD processes)
• You have a solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• You like to take responsibility and feel comfortable discussing QA processes and tools
• You share your knowledge and are always interested in new technologies
• You are interested in the IoT area and the use of edge devices
