Tasks

You at Neuraum

You will be the holistic and versatile mastermind of our data function, owning our data architecture & engineering as well as turning data into valuable insights and powerful applications at the heart of our service.

What You ll Do

• You own and optimize our data architecture & infrastructure in close alignment with our Engineering team
• You model data in all layers of our data warehouse and manage our data pipelines using Airflow, Python and BigQuery and other tools. It s not about the tools, it s about the technique!
• You own and manage data applications, translating complex business cases into smart core services
• You improve on and optimise apps at the heart of our service our recommendation engine and forecasting models
• You enable decision-making by continuously optimizing our KPI transparency and building advanced dashboards, as well as performing in-depth analysis
• You maintain and develop APIs using Python

Requirements

What You ll Need

• You have a good understanding of different data architectures & infrastructure setups and how to optimize them
• You have proficient knowledge of Python, SQL and data warehouses
• You have a keen interest in understanding the big picture and how your work drives business success
• It s a plus, if you have at least basic knowledge of ETL tools, cloud based set ups, Docker, Kubernetes
• You are a team player and like to interact with other departments and work collaboratively, not being afraid to step outside the confines of your role or job description
• You feel comfortable communicating in English
