Our client provides a complete suite of services to property investors, from the acquisition, financing and management of investment properties (including rental and maintenance management) to accounting and trust services. They are truly a national property investment company, ideally positioned to assist property investors to master every stage in a successful property investment and achieve financial freedom.

Requirements

• Matric Certificate
  
• Accounting Degree
  
• SAIPA or SAICA accredited
  
• Minimum 2 years post-article experience
  
• Valid drivers license and own transport
  
• Ability to communicate effectively and have excellent relational skills.
  
• Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports
  
• Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word-processing programs
  
• Knowledge on Caseware and Xero
  
• Understand statutory requirements e.g. PAYE, UIF, etc.
  

Responsibilities

• Review of monthly management accounts.
  
• Preparation of budgets and forecasting.
  
• Reviewing all applicable income and balance sheet reconciliations.
  
• Review of bi-monthly VAT reconciliations, submissions, and payments to SARS.
  
• Cash flow projections.
  
• Review of annual income tax and provisional tax calculations and returns.
  
• Review of draft financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
