Responsibilities

• Design innovative, technical approaches for Azure Cloud solution architectures from complete green field approaches to complex migration scenarios
• Develop sophisticated Cloud Architectures based on Microsoft Azure, while also considering requirements in terms of security, legal, multi-tenancy and access patterns
• Collaborate with various disciplines such as enterprise architects, analysts, data scientists or data engineers to develop data-intensive applications such as data warehouses, data lakes and/or data platforms
• Closely interact with customers and stakeholders to translate concrete and complex business requirements into production ready infrastructures
• Investigate new and emerging technologies in order to provide our customers with the optimal solution to their business requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor s / Master s degree in computer science or related fields ( e.g. engineering, statistics, informatics )
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure or substantial knowledge with any other major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP) or on-premise solutions
• Proficiency with Linux, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions like Terraform or configuration management solutions like Ansible is mandatory
• Knowledge about networks, distributed computing solutions, application scaling and databases is a plus
• Ability to convincingly communicate project and development results within project structure
• Fluent in English and German (or a strong motivation to learn the language)
