Machine Control & Surveying Support Specialist

This is a remote position.

Established company specializing in Machine Control and Surveying is expanding to South Carolina. They are seeking a Machine Control & Surveying Support Specialist to work remotely in their South Carolina region!

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Construction Survey and Software team build and integrate 2D and 3D solutions
  
• Provide consulting services to construction clients
  
• Assist with training/support for Survey and Software
  
• Provide technical sales support for integrated 2D and 3D solutions
  
• Keep current of existing software, new software, and software updates
  
• Teach Continuing Education (CE) training classes for Surveying, 3D Guidance systems and software
  
• Provide support (both phone and on-site) for field service on all guidance and software products
  
• Serve as a paid consultant to customers for training/support
  
• Maintain project documentation/reports per company standards
  
• Use manuals to troubleshoot equipment
  

Requirements:

• Associate degree (or higher) or equivalent experience in Surveying/Survey Technology or Civil Engineering
  
• 4+ years of field experience in construction surveying
  
• Knowledge of Leica Geosystems products preferred
  
• Proficient in 2D and 3D Guidance technology
  
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD software preferred
  
• PLS preferred
