EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • Understanding business needs and objectives
  • Identifying and validating internal and external data sets generated from a diverse range of business and operational processes
  • Knowledge of working with Business intelligence tools (mainly Excel based) and the use of pivot tables
  • Experience with Microsoft EPM
  • Knowledge of working with Business intelligence tools (mainly Excel based) and the use of pivot tables
  • Advanced Excel level knowing how to use advanced excel formulas (which means combining different Excel functions to calculate a specific value which is not possible to calculate otherwise

    Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
  • PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner Certified or equivalent PMI certifications such as CAPM or PMP
  • Proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming language

    DUTIES/ROLE:
  • Under the direction of the Principal Business Manager engage with external stakeholder (COO -Business planning team, ACQ and HR) to provide support on the Business Execution Plan
  • Manage NDW Interim Workforce Capacity budget within multiple funding streams and engage with internal stakeholder to identify business requirements for IWCs and external stakeholders to identify funding for IWCs to maintain business continuity. Support the Principal Business Manager as part of interview panel for IWCs recruited as Project Managers
  • Under the direction of the Principal Business Manager, provide financial guidance to Service Delivery Managers towards maximising resource capacity and business intake processes
  • Provide senior stakeholder including Service Area Owners visibility on NDW projects and services in financial domain to ensure in year spend is on track against the business target or to identify any funding gaps
  • Track month on month burn rate against services and projects with in NDW to identify financial trends, which are then discussed between the Principal Business Manager and the leadership team to see if any corrective measures need to be taken
  • Act as a one of the central POCs for Service Now
  • Deputise Business Manager in day-to-day business tasks and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required and provide business insight on critical issues
  • Analyse and manage NDW billable targets against the Pulse Report to enable re-planning for maximisation of revenue generation for NDW as a business. This is performed under the direction of the Principal Business Manager and should be done in coordination with COO and a proper prioritization process
  • Assess and approve timesheets as status manager against projects and manage TAS Control report for whole of NDW on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Work on improving the KPIs under the Business Intake process under the direction of the Principal Business Manager
  • Approve resources requests for Business Management team within NDW resources in absence of the Principal Business Manager
  • Use expertise on business tools and help supporting functional areas like HR and ACQ to test and implement their new tools
  • Support and educate new staff members on business requirements and how to achieve them within NDW Work with internal and external stakeholders to support the management of certain Taskers, submit them for review with in deadlines and attend reviews on behalf of the Principal Business Manager
  • Enable PMs and SDMs raising/correcting requisitions and approve Purchase orders in EBA
  • Support the Principal Business Manager in developing a new business dashboard that can combine quantitative and qualitative data
