Wage Rate: $26.50/hour, 40hrs/week.
Work location: Various locations all over lower mainland.
Anticipated start date: as soon as possible.
Education: high school
Work experience: 1 to 2 years of experience is required.
Language: Basic English
Job Requirements:
Reading blueprints, specifications and drawings to determine the layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste/drainage systems.
Installing, repairing and maintaining domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
Locating and marking positions for the pipe connections and fixtures in wall and ceilings.
Measuring, cutting, bending and threading pipes using hand & power tools or machines.
Inspecting pipes for pipe leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
Choosing plumbing material based on budget, location and intendent use of building.
Collaborating with contactors, electricians, construction workers, pipefitters and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.

Work site environment: Wet/damp, confined places.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Large workload, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling.
