Job Description
- Working Location: Brussels, Belgium
- Security Clearance: NATO Secret
- Language: High proficiency level in English language
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience of SCOM (Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager) in a large scale LAN-based client-server environment
Recent experience on design, installation and maintenance of SCOM environments over multiple Active Directory domains
In-depth knowledge of installation and configuration of SCOM management packs
Experience with configuring monitoring of Linux based systems with SCOM
Ability to quickly analyse and implement third party SCOM management packs
Excellent troubleshooting skills
DUTIES/ROLE:
Upgrade/reinstall existing SCOM instances to the latest level
Install, configure and troubleshoot SCOM management packs including third party management packs used to monitor network, storage, applications, etc.
Install and configure SCOM servers to enable monitoring across different Active Directory domains
Administers SCOM (Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager) systems
Tune the SCOM configuration to prevent false-positive alerts
Take necessary actions to ensure all elements of IT services are monitored
Monitor the SCOM environments and take appropriate actions
Investigates and resolves issues in a systematic approach
