Job Description

We are currently looking for dynamic, energetic and BMW passionate individuals to join our award-winning team in the role of Automotive Service Technician, on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Duties
Perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance and repairs as assigned.
Diagnose/troubleshoot customer complaints to find source of problem(s) and repair
Examine vehicles to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order and communicate to Service Advisor.
Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
Notify Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repair order is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised.
Clearly and accurately document all work performed.
Perform warranty repairs to vehicles that qualify.
Determine if vehicles need additional safety or service work.
Road test vehicles as required.
Attend and successfully complete factory training as required by BMW Center.
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
Follow warranty material disposition procedures.
Understand and follow federal, provincial and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
Ensure overall cleanliness of shop.
Job Requirements
Strong mechanical/technical automotive skills
Minimum 4 years of work experience plus industry courses in automotive technology, or completion of a four-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program or equivalent
BMW trained or certified technicians are preferred and prioritized
Excellent time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Understand safe working and driving practices
Ability to work well with a team
Ability to communicate in English
