Job Details

A trusted leader and IT professional who can transform business problems into business solutions with the use of software applications and strategic projects. This individual will lead all IT HUB Poland based software engineering activities based with his domestic team supporting projects and stakeholders globally, as well as being the single point of contact for all IT related matters in Media Division for the IT HUB Poland.


Job Description:

Work across the Kantar Media division supporting a global organization, hands-on understanding of our existing product lines, capabilities and technology challenges to stabilize delivery and more effectively drive innovation and grow our capabilities.
Manage an extensive and complex range of projects and product lines by growing the organization's maturity in project management processes that yield consistently excellent results on time, within budget, and in step with current and anticipated internal and external customer needs.
Build and maintain a superior, accountable team that consistently delivers to the business, on time and within budget, meeting the quality standards.
Assist in defining and ensure the measure of delivery KPIs
Manage reporting and analytics systems to identify issues and evaluate performance, as well as to drive decisions across the organization.
Assume leadership, coordination and management of budget responsibility for IT HUB Poland
Provide technical leadership guidance to other areas (e.g. Product and Operations stakeholders)
Recognize when judgment calls are being made or need to be considered and seek input to ensure the organization makes the best decisions.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a results-oriented Senior Development Manager or similar role who has assessed, evaluated and implemented high priority and time-sensitive strategic initiatives in line with the companys business goals, on time and within budget.
Extremely broad technical background (ideally systems, hardware and software), as well as a broad understanding of other functions (marketing, production, quality assurance, customer service) to ensure individual and bundled products reflect effective development, quality assurance, modeling and simulation decisions.
Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and project management skills including transparency in leadership roles and the ability to listen, facilitate collaboration, promote creativity and keeping team members focused on "doing the right projects" and "doing the right projects well".
Exceptional ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization across multiple sites and in multiple countries.
Excellent judgment, professional ethics and the ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality protections.
An excellent communicator in both written and verbal methods. Comfortable in speaking to all levels of the organization both internally and externally.

Knowledge & Experience



Essential:

- At least 5+ years in a VP/Director/Manager of IT role with several direct reports underneath you.
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment to provide technical leadership to decision making processes
- Proven experience in leading and delivering accurate and timely status on technology projects / initiatives
- Experience managing teams of direct and indirect reports in a global matrix


Desirable:

- Direct experience in working with offshore partners a strong plus.
- Great communication skills, present ideas thoughtfully/professionally
- Experience in mentoring direct reports who manage others and providing goal setting and strategic direction for their teams
