ERP Finance Consultant for a specialist in Enterprise Asset Management

Our client, a specialist in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Field Service Management (FSM). They take care of the delivery, implementation, optimization, maintenance and support of multiple software and integrations Solutions. Due to growth in the team, we are looking for an Application Manager Cloud Business Software IFS.

Tasks

As an ERP application manager, you bridge the gap between the business and the ERP system. You think along with the user, act as a source of information and manage and optimize the ERP system at customers. We work with the ERP system IFS. The position has an operational and tactical character. This means that the application manager is responsible for advising customers and configuring, setting up and installing the application at these customers at a functional level.

The application manager is jointly responsible for writing assignment formulations. Is responsible for conducting research at customer organizations, devises creative solutions and provides advice, and implements this advice based on customer demand. He/she is part of the service team, an involved team consisting of functional and technical application managers, jointly responsible for providing the service. You develop your professional knowledge and you see yourself as an advisor and you have a strong technical background. In this way you contribute to a positive brand awareness and the result of our customers and our organization.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• You research the questions of our customers and you are able to come up with creative solutions. You advise and implement this advice based on customer demand.
• You support our customers in the further design, configuration and implementation of the optimal solution within IFS or IFS-related applications.
• You have a strong interest in the technical possibilities of ERP and you keep yourself informed of the latest ICT developments.
• You are able to manage and monitor the IFS application (functionally)
• Based on your insight into business processes, you are able to translate the demands of our customers into possibilities within IFS or applications related to IFS.
• You map the wishes of the users and translate these into a functional design and improvement proposals/advice;
• In collaboration with technical management, you ensure the continuity of the system (management, performance and maintenance);
• You realize changes in the layout;
• You are the source of information for the users;
• You are the connector with external parties such as suppliers or external consultants;
• You implement both regular and ad-hoc updates of the application;
• Providing education and training to colleagues and key users;
• In addition to the ERP application, there are adjacent applications. You will have a similar role in managing these applications.
• You draw up functional and test specifications, you test the application / solutions (in conjunction with any customization)

Knowledge

• You have an MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level or equivalent. Medior 2 5 years work experience within an IT service organization Senior > 6 years work experience within an IT service organization
• Knowledge of ERP business software
• Knowledge of business processes
• Knowledge of SQL database is a plus
• Knowledge of management processes (ITIL, ASL, BiSL)
• Good command of Dutch, English in word and writing
