Tasks

The Role

We are looking for someone who loves all things YouTube! This role involves editing both images (YouTube thumbnails, social media posts, etc.) and videos. The role does not require you to create any animations or motion graphics. You will work closely with our animation team to help come up with ideas for motion graphics and animations for our YouTube videos. As a perfect candidate you will combine creativity with analytical skills as well as a deep understanding of YouTube!

What you will be building with us:

• Run the day-to-day operation across multiple YouTube channels and analyze performance of thumbnails, titles and videos
• Upload content, ensuring channels and pages adhere to best practices
• Use data analytics to inform the upload schedule and grow the accounts
• Edit video content in the right spec for YouTube and YouTube shorts
• Create graphics for YouTube thumbnails to maximize CTR
• Create graphics, images, GIFs for posts across socials
• Keep up to date with platform developments and trends (e.g., thumbnail best practices)
• Write optimized metadata and copy for videos and posts
• Help in the creation and upkeep of programming calendars across platforms
• Manage content and materials library

Requirements

What you add to our Team:

• Proficiency using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience in Adobe After Effects a big plus
• Strong knowledge of the YouTube platform including YouTube Shorts including understanding of YouTube analytics
• Bachelor s degree preferred
