Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician in the field is responsible for the service and maintenance of all ZOLL Medical Resuscitation products, in the field or in the depot and ensures that all tasks pertaining to this service are properly performed and reported.

Travel will be at least 90% between Oxford and Southampton covering a key account for ZOLL UK.

Tasks

  • Performing regular maintenance on ZOLL equipment
  • Performing STK / MTK's according to MDR
  • Carry out incoming and outgoing quality controls
  • Ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, minimising total TAT (turnaround times)
  • Accurate documentation of defect findings, preparation of detailed service reports
  • Tracking activities in the Complaint Management System database
  • Handling incoming customer calls and enquiries
  • Building strong relationships with sales, customer service and business partners
  • Practically contribute to the day-to-day operations of the department
  • Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Trained as a technician or engineer degree or equivalent experience (focus on electrical engineering)
  • Customer satisfaction (NPS value for repairs)
  • Failure rate (as complaint of maintenance or repair carried out)
  • Excellent knowledge and proven skills in electronics & mechanics.
  • IT equipment, networking skills (e.g. MS Office)
  • Diagnostic and measuring equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge of resuscitation equipment
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations for medical devices, focus on MDR, EN 60601, EN 62353 etc.
  • Clean drivers license and own vehicle
