Back-End Engineer Node.js, LATAM region

The company is building a fintech lending marketplace that gives equity-earning employees liquidity and provides investors with a lucrative way to invest in pre-IPO equity.

Currently, the company has startup partners with an aggregate valuation of over $40B ready to use this platform.

Tasks

• Work with the development team to ideate software solutions.
• Attending and contributing to departmental meetings
• Design secure, scalable, low-latency, highly available systems
• Design, implement and own the continuous integration and deployment pipeline
• Responsible for the design, development, and support of integration solutions throughout the organization
• Design and development of database systems and data storage solution
• Own solutions from technical design to deployment
• Write technical documentation, process flows and object models
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation;

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering back-end experience with any back-end
  framework. Our tech stack is Node.js, Typescript, and GraphQL, but expertise in any backend languages or technologies is acceptable.
• Solid Typescript Experience, using it in production.
• 1+ year experience using any SQL database management system.
• Experience building scalable, consumer-grade APIs. Preferably with GraphQL.
• Experience working with Distributed Systems and Microservices in the cloud
  (AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred)
• Experience working in test-driven development environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
