Requirements

• Develops, implements and monitors service delivery standards regarding information management services by consulting clients on their information and technological needs in order to ensure that services provided meet a high level of quality and client needs.
  
• Manages or performs in-depth analysis of problems related to information management. Identifies appropriate research resources to address and devise solutions and ensures that plans are developed in order to meet the near and long term needs of clients/systems.
  
• Manages specialized research services by identifying relevant and valid information requested by users in order for them to retrieve the required information to conduct their research and/or fulfil their mandate.
  
• Oversees implementation of technological solutions and ensures follow-up to confirm resolution of information management problems.
  
• Monitors and analyses client Information Management resources, usage trends, trends versus user requirements in order to identify any opportunities or issues in service delivery or capacity building regarding information management in the organization.
  
• Conduct information research by themselves such as to perform searches online, use databases and any other electronic resources where research is done.
  
• Participates in the formulation of the division s strategic plans, ensuring that they are aligned with CIS Strategic Plan and that they respond to user requirements and priorities.
