Job Summary

Our Client is looking to hire a Technical Operations Manager to head/manage one of their operations teams. The position handles the delivery of professional services, equipment configurations, and technical standards. In addition, the position provides technical guidance for complex customer solutions, engineering support for Red-leaf Solutions products, product research, and technical leadership. The role will be customer-facing in the pre-sale environment and requires an understanding of customer needs. This position is a key member of the management staff that helps shape the companys products and services. Furthermore, the position is pivotal to Red-leaf Solutions technical accreditation and significant investment is required by the technical operations manager and technical operations team members to demonstrate correct competency levels to deliver projects effectively & professionally.


Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Technical Operations team and overseas technical installation and delivery on all project related jobs performed by your team on behalf of the company.
  • Candidates must be an Engineer (knowledge of code and regulations), have ELV understanding (Extra Low Voltage), have managerial skills, ability to interpret drawings (Auto-cad)
  • Manage relationships with the vendor support services team.
  • Assist in the technical aspects of RFP responses and product configuration.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
  • Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices and tools to verify conformance to standards requirements and customer/contractor certification and sign off.
  • Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractors for related inquiries and jobs.
  • Fully embrace and promote all strategies and activities related to financial transparency and information sharing.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of products, functions, features, and benefits.
  • Provide knowledge and training on products to the internal team.
  • Able to prioritize the work in a multi-tasking environment, meeting tight deadlines and following up on commitments, detail-oriented.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of a Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • The candidate must have 3 - 5 years of related experience
  • Expert Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines.
  • Responsive to changing demands.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to evaluate new approaches, and systems, and design solutions.
  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and schedule work.
  • Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations.
  • Broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and practices of related specialties.
  • Good team leadership ability, effective verbal, written, and presentation skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain quality control by establishing and maintaining technical operations standards.
  • Translate customer needs assessments for complex implementations.
  • Confer with management to coordinate work activities, resolve employee grievances, or identify and review resource needs within the department.
  • Conduct or arrange for worker training in safety, operational procedures, or equipment use.
  • Actively participates in promoting, supporting, and enhancing our Core Purpose, Core Values, and Company Culture.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
