Position: Machinist

Location: Tampa, Florida

Responsibilities

• This position will interpret engineering drawings and repair documents
  

• You will also be responsible for the set up and manufacturing of machine parts using CNC and conventional horizontal and vertical mills as well as other standard machine shop equipment
  

• This position you will draw and program parts utilizing CAD/CAM software
  

• Additionally, this position will inspect parts utilizing precision measurement equipment
  

• This position will be first and/or second shift hours dependent on operational needs

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
  

• Graduate of a certified machine trades program
  

• 3 years of experience in set up and operation of CNC vertical mills, basic programming skill and performing manual machining
  

• Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings
  

• Ability to inspect parts utilizing precision measurement equipment
  

• Ability to operate CAD/CAM software
  

• Mastercam CAD/CAM software experience
  

• Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application
