Position: Machinist

Responsibilities
This position will interpret engineering drawings and repair documents
You will also be responsible for the set up and manufacturing of machine parts using CNC and conventional horizontal and vertical mills as well as other standard machine shop equipment
This position you will draw and program parts utilizing CAD/CAM software
Additionally, this position will inspect parts utilizing precision measurement equipment
This position will be first and/or second shift hours dependent on operational needs

Ability to commute/relocate:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
High school diploma or GED
Graduate of a certified machine trades program
3 years of experience in set up and operation of CNC vertical mills, basic programming skill and performing manual machining
Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings
Ability to inspect parts utilizing precision measurement equipment
Ability to operate CAD/CAM software
Mastercam CAD/CAM software experience
Working knowledge of process improvement methodology and application
