A well reputed multinational company from the Aerospace & IT Industry having its operations in the USA & Canada are looking for the following positions preferably in Tampa, Florida, USA or nearby area.
Position: A & P Technician, Line Maintenance
Requirements:
Technical
Troubleshooting, inspections, routine and non-routine maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance program requirements, within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and customer standards of quality.
Returns to Service aircraft that have completed all required maintenance actions utilizing logbooks or customer authorized documentation.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Relocation assistance available.
Testing and inspecting the operational requirements such as the engines, control, accessories, landing gear, cooling and heating systems, Hydraulics, oxygen, fuel, and other pressurization.
Preventive maintenance and alterations as and when required for customers.
Inspection of articles such as the incoming, hidden damages, in progress final and outgoings.
Complete the repair and maintenance procedure by utilizing hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, test equipment, aircraft jacks, hoists, and other equipment related to ground support respectively.
The work order to be maintained and practiced accordingly with logical entries, clear, concise, and complying to the requirement of the regulatory.
Cleanliness and organized work perimeters is required.
HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) Compliance is mandatory.
Work as an inspector when authorized and with limitations set in the Repair Station Quality Control and forms Manual authorization.
Ensure operations for the specialized diagnosed and repairable equipment.
Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations in the context of applying maintenance and inspection policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities
Duties as assigned for O.T (Overtime) and on call.
OJT (On the Job Training) related to new employees induction.
Other Misc. duties as and when required assigned by the supervisor.
Other Responsibilities as Supervisor
May train other junior employees as authorized and required.
Experience:
At least 2 years as A&P Licensed.
Education:
At least High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Professional Qualification:
Valid FAA certified Airframe and Power plant (A & P) license.
Skills & Professional Requirements:
Basic understanding of FAA regulations pertaining to CFR Part 145 repair station operations
Prefer 2 years B737/B747/B757/ B767/B777, A320 or ERJ Line Maintenance experience.
Prefer a strong background in electronics.
Must provide tools as listed on required tool listing
Proficient in reading, writing, and possessing arithmetic skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite with the essence and desire to learn additional software applications.
Pass all drug/alcohol screening tests, background, and reference checks provided eligibility to work in the USA.
Excellent listener and a problem solver.
Teamwork and independent worker as required.
Precise and clear communicator
Work under pressure and handle change management
Physical Skills:
Walk; lift up to 75lbs, crawl, and bend, climb, stretch and willing to work a tiresome position for a long time as required.
Can climb ladders.
Not having high Height phobia.
HSE & Work Environment skills:
Work under extreme temperatures and inclement weather as required.
Can work up to 50 feet in height.
Can handle equipment such as the forklifts, boom, and scissor lifts etc.
Shall accept to work for long hours, available in emergency, work over time and may require weekends.
Ability to deal with extensive exposure to noise, dust, smells, fumes present in an aviation environment.
Remuneration:
Compensation is dependent on experience and is negotiable that fits the company needs in terms of Professional Qualifications and skill set. Position is eligible for the retention bonus as well.
