On behalf of one of its clients in the events industry, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for aMICE Specialist
The company is a turnkey corporate digital & live event management, experiential marketing, augmented/mixed reality and incentive travel agency. We work across a large range of industries including tech, healthcare & medtech, insurance, finance, luxury, fashion, aerospace, hospitality, food and beverage. Our reactive and passionate team produces inspiring events & experiences.
Main responsibilities
Follow up on the concepts and proposals approved by clients and put them into reality
Source for materials and act as a negotiator to obtain cost-effective prices from suppliers
Key liaison between client, event managers, designers and other 3rd party vendors leading up to the event, ensuring that both client and event requirements are met.
Coordinate and manage the set-up and production of the event on site, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality event
Plan and propose workflows for every event
Supervise and manage all suppliers and contractors working on location.
Ensure a smooth operation throughout each event
Required to work closely with the members of the team to collectively produce a successful event
To handle multiple projects from entry level to mega huge events
Manage the brainstorming & execution process for concept & theme of all events
Logistics management and inventory control of all equipments materials and any other items.
Requirements
4 to 6 years of experience in Travel Consultancy or Agency
Regional experience in South East Asia is a nice to have
Ability to work across all levels with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient G suite Applications especially in Excel and Powerpoint
Self-motivated, proactive, organized and attentive to details
Be able to prioritise and multitask based on a Rainbow Calendar
Experience in delegating tasks to juniors and delivering results
Ability to work independently as well as a good team player
Ability to multi-task and deliver within a tight deadline
Willing to learn & contribute, results and customer service oriented.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately
Understand task split and be proactive in communicating challenges
Comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic & multicultural startup environment
Ability to provide & receive constant feedback and take action in a timely manner training on this will be provided, but a baseline working understanding is expected
