On behalf of one of its clients in the events industry, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for aSales Director
The company is a turnkey corporate digital & live event management, experiential marketing, augmented/mixed reality and incentive travel agency. We work across a large range of industries including tech, healthcare & medtech, insurance, finance, luxury, fashion, aerospace, hospitality, food and beverage. Our reactive and passionate team produces inspiring events & experiences.
Main responsibilities :
Assess
Get to know the current sales team - their strengths and weaknesses, and build a relationship with them
Understand the challenges currently being faced
Action
Understand the events industry - from a client and competitor stand point
Identify key market players to approach from a business development perspective
Attend events produced by our team
Begin to develop the B2B Sales Strategy targeting the Luxury and MICE Industry
Recommend
Once you have an understanding of our current sales function, build a situation report along with recommendations and action points on what needs to be done next in order to optimise the sales effort
Build a mentorship program for the current sales team based
Put into action the management approved B2B sales strategy
Build and develop relationships with the existing portfolio of corporate clients in the MICE, luxury automotive, aerospace, insurance, oil & gas, government industries
Work closely with the production team to craft creative event, video and experiential marketing proposals to win new opportunities and begin to build a book of business
Draft (along with management) your role as a Sales Director to achieve long term success for the sales team
Requirements
10 to 12 years of Marketing and/or Sales experience
Leadership / mentorship experience of at least 4 years
Strong oral and written communication skills
Able to work on CRM systems (such as Hubspot or equivalent)
