Data Architect

Job Description

Role will be an experienced architect with at least 10 years of experience in the below but not limited to:

Designed efficient and scalable solutions involving large volumes of data, data extraction from files, design and implement databases addressing application/reporting needs, ensuring processed data delivery to specified recipients, implementing efficient checks and balances minimizing data loss and sufficient alert mechanism.

Understand requirements thoroughly collaborating with appropriate stakeholders, identify gaps if any and complete the requirements working with QCOM's SMEs

Highly proficient in analysis and justification with the ability of employing appropriate methods and approaches ensuring the solution is scalable with multifold increase in execution volume.

Clear and detailed documentation of technical design and implementation aspects enabling easy and efficient on-boarding of internal support teams.

Role expectations:

Understand objectives of the in-house developed solutions

These solutions are heavily relied on Python, JAVA and Shell scripting

Involve extraction of data from high volume transactions (100's of thousands of files processing)

Highly reliant on Oracle DB, SQL/PLSQL

Includes

Review developed solution's architecture, logic and recommend two folded solution enhancements for efficiencies so the applications can scale up for increasing volumes and reduce/eliminate data loss

Architecture level: Any technology recommendations, architectural recommendations achieving high concurrency and low latency

Integration and operation level : Any process and procedure recommendations
