Internal Sales

Job Overview

Internal sales will be the first line of contact for any customer wanting to buy from GPH, and further be responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships between his or her allocated customers and Glass Partners.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Processing of customer quotes and Orders received telephonically or as per email

Process outstanding order reports and confirm with factory where in processing stage orders are.

Provide feedback on outstanding orders to customers.

Communication to customers about changes in the industry (price increases, specials)

Assist customer with payments (cash and cards payments)

Assisting with reception duties

Sending of daily sales reports

Assist sales reps with quotes, orders and customer enquiries, order follow ups.

Assist operations manager with quotes, orders, enquires etc when not available.

Assist with month end stock take reports (processing)

Follow up on outstanding customer payments.

Assist debtor s controller with account queries when not available

Distribution of petty cash when needed

Assist with petty cash slips at month end

Assist with GRN s scan and load documents to One Drive

Assist with IT problems internal as well as for Sybaweb

General filing duties

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Matric

2-3 years of relevant experience in an office / sales environment

Preferably from the Glass Industry

Must speak English and Afrikaans

Proficient in Microsoft Office, GlassPro will be beneficial

Strong phone skills

GlassPro would be advantageous

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English

Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance

Excellent interpersonal skills

Punctual with strong attendance history

Strong communication skills

Being hands-on
