2nd/3rd Engineer

We are currently seeking a2nd/3rd Line Support Engineerfor an established IT Services Provider. This a permanent role based in the Watford area. You will provide 2nd line IT support to external clients from varied industries and you will be working alongside a talented support team.

We are looking for the following in your background and experience:

• 3 years proven experience of providing 2nd line support
  

• Excellent communication verbal and written
  

• Experience with Windows 7/8/10
  

• Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and DNS
  

• Able to solve complex queries
  

• Hold a UK driving license
  

A typical day for the 2nd/3rd Line Engineer will look like this:

• Dealing with new cases via telephone, email and web. You will manage tickets and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  

• Proactive monitoring of IT systems
  

• Helpdesk and incident management
  

• Router/Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
  

• System checks including backup and antivirus monitoring and reporting
