Fluidcare Technician

This position will be working at the GKN Facility in Bristol, by providing high-level cleaning services within a manufacturing environment. The Ideal candidate should be able to work individually, but most importantly as part of a team.

Tasks

This Position is to provide a wide range of cleaning services within an Industrial environment. You will be working as part of a team and to agreed working schedules, to collectively manage and maintain high cleanliness standards across the facility. There may be occasions when overtime is required to cover holidays etc., so flexibility is essential.

This role is critical to site operations, ensuring that walkways, surfaces etc... are free from any
debris and fluids. The use of mechanical equipment will be required to assist you on occasion. Completion of cleaning trackers/documents is essential for traceability (auditing) and accountability, ensuring that all cleaning activities/tasks completed by Quaker Houghton are managed in a controlled way

Requirements

• This position requires no previous experience as full training will be provided, however,
  Knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment and, experience in providing cleaning services and working with mechanical cleaning equipment would be beneficial.
• Cleanliness is critical to reducing the risk of slips, trips & falls. Complying with the site s safety JTRA s (Job, Task, Risk, Assessments) is mandatory for all employees. Daily/weekly safety checks of equipment and hazard observations are essential.
• Flexible to job requirements.
• Good communication skills
• Full UK Driving License.
