(Senior) Project Manager with Development Skills for 5G/6G and Wireless Communication Systems (M/F/D)

Tasks

The requirements of the industrial communication networks are very specific and change very fast. Along those dynamic trends, Nuromedia overtakes the role as a thought leader between industry, market and research and creates new environments and standards in this area.

As a new colleague, you will be part of an innovative team to build up future-oriented communication systems that present a new level of performance. Especially in the area of 5G/6G and Wireless Communication Systems as a (Senior) Project Manager with Development Skills (M/F/D) you will be the booster for new implementations around wireless connections to control remote parts of industrial machines that allows them greater freedom of mobility than before (no cables, low latency, fast transmission of data).

Via sensors and signals machines can be configured and steered without any dependencies on the area - paired with AI the potential of the new way of communication will be upgraded.

Together with the Machine Learning Team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Development and Implementation of methods around Network Orchestration
• In the area IT-Security, you will be dealing with the discipline of Artificial Intelligence for real -time communication networks
• Collaboration with the Machine Learning Department around the discipline of Security of 6G-wireless-networks
• Collaboration with the Machine Learning Department around 6G Network Performance Management Automation
• Being a sparring partner for the Managing Director and being the first contact person for stakeholders and developers

Requirements

• Experience-Level: 5 years+
• Work Permit for Germany or EU!
• Strong English and German Skills
• Degree in computer science/communications engineering or training as an IT specialist in systems integration with several years of professional experience in a similar field
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP Release-15+ RAN specifications, service requirements and architecture of 5G-NR network SA and NSA modes
• Expertise in creating 5G Core test plans for system level, subsystem level and feature level testing
• Experience with 5G core system interfaces and protocols
• Good knowledge of Linux servers in network environments
• Knowledge of LTE/5G core architecture
• Knowledge of mobile networks (LTE/5G) or radio network technologies (RRH, BBU) Experience with virtualization solutions
• Knowledge of Session Border Controller, NAT, Firewall, Authentication Encryption, L2 Layer switches (Routers/Switches)

It is a plus:

• Hands-on experience on Cloud infrastructure and RAN deployment in a virtualized environment
