Requirements
- Drive type testing to validate new designs
- Producing detailed reports
- Building prototype and NPI PCBs, drives and assemblies
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with experience and knowledge of AC Drives
- Ideally qualified BTEC (or higher), undergoing qualification in Electronic Engineering or the prerequisites to do so
- Good IT skills: Excel and word are essential
- Good organisation skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

KEY SKILLS/Qualifications we are seeking. Competence in problem solving, planning and decision making Solid Works / Sheet Metal Design / PDM Knowledge of metal fabrication, fabrics and plastics Understanding and ability to work in an SME Knowledge of Lean manufacturing Knowledge of LVD and Amada Press brake software Product costing knowledge Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the business. Degree in engineering related discipline OR HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
