Campos EPC is currently searching for an EIC Drafting & Design Manager for a full time position located in Denver, CO.
The role is responsible for the execution and development of all design and drafting project work in Campos EPC s growing Station EIC group. This includes leading business development efforts, proposal development, process development, technical project execution and client management. Ultimately this role ensures that project requirements are met or exceeded during the execution of projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Possess and maintain broad and in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, procedures, and standards related electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems and associated design efforts.
Responsible for overall success and coordination of the EIC design and drafting group
Responsible to provide direction and make final decisions within the design and drafting group
Support for group size, staffing, interview, and hiring needs
Support for client interface including initial meet and greet, onsite meetings, business development, selling of services, project support
Support for development of group related proposals and man-hour estimates
Responsible for initial design on projects including development of objective and scope
Support for project team roles and responsibilities
Support for coordination with other discipline groups
Responsible for design drafting standard workflow procedures and standards
Supervisor role responsible for:
Coordination of design drafting team
Weekly group reports
Weekly billability reports and billability forecast
Mentoring, Training, and constructive feedback to group
Timesheet approvals
Quarterly progress and annual performance reviews
Out of office request approvals, coordination of out of office times
Development and coaching of direct reports
DIRECTION RECEIVED
Supervision and guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts and policy matters. Continuous effective communication with supervisor.
DIRECTION OF OTHERS
Supervise, coordinate and review the work of up to 7 direct reports, 20 indirect.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent and 10+ years experience.
